Monday Memory

I have been doing some "DEEP" cleaning this week. On all 3 levels of the house. I work and I work and I work. And I feel like the mess just grows. But today I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. One of "few" joys I actually have when deep cleaning is finding old pictures that I have tucked away here and there.

This was my Dad and I in July of 1991. I was 7 almost 8. And my dad caught this fish out of the river........legally of course....I think?....maybe not. I do fondly remember this. The thing weighed twice as much as me. It was and still to this day is the biggest fish I have ever seen come of of any body of water close to my parent's home. And I knew that I absolutely 100% had the coolest father ever. He took me fishing lots as a kid. I baited my own hook from a very young age. And to this day I have him to thank for my love of the outdoors.

I am sure my dad could tell you the "Big Fish" story. So you can ask him sometime. He's a good story teller. I would BEG him to tell me stories before bed as a kid. And he would. And they were great.
