Crazy Days

Well to say things have been crazy here the last 4 days would be an understatement. Dana headed to the sand dunes in Wynoka, OK with a bunch of guys (25) for a long planned bachelor party on friday. Yes, they did drive through a blizzard to get there. Wynoka's official reported snow fall was 24 inches!!! They all made it back safely late last night and had a wonderful time. The snow started melting quickly on sat. when the sun came out so they did actually get to see the sand.

So that left the girls and I facing the bad weather. Which included lots of ice and sleet, thunder snow, and unpredictable electricity. We lost it several times but never for more than a couple hours at a time thankfully! Kennedy loved it to say the least. She has an internal barometer and any time the weather gets crazy she does too! WILD CRAZY! So she got to burn some energy out in the snow.

On Sunday we made it to my cousin Taylor's 12th birthday party. It was a great time and the girls loved getting to see Taylor. So here's a bunch of pics to recap our weekend.

P.S. Tomorrow is my old man's birthday! He'll be 27! So feel free to wish him a big one. Stay tuned for pics!

Ear"bling"

Gentry got her ears pierced today! So now she is just like big sis. She was such an awesome customer. She sat so still and only cried for a few seconds afterwards. And "Yes" I felt like a horrible mother during those few seconds. But all was swell quickly afterwards and all pain quickly forgotten when we stopped for some good play time at the cool play area in the mall.

Pretty Pink Earrings!

Most adults wouldn't be able to walk for days after sleeping like this! But for our girls this type of sleeping position is "normal".

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring is on the fast track down here in the south part of the state. Our trees are leafing out quickly and everything has beautiful blooms. Aside from the wind the weather here has been truly wonderful. The girls and I took a walk last night with the camera. Kennedy always begs to go to the "tracks". She just loves trains but she loves the tracks even more. And NO, we didn't hang out "ON" them very long. Enough to get a few pics and a few rocks for the pockets. So here is a taste of our outdoor life right now!

Funnies

Our Eldest Child has become quite the comedian here lately. The other night she was getting her pajamas on and came walking out with her pants pulled up to her chest just laughing her head off. She of course thought this HAD to be the funniest thing in the world. And to her parents, it really was. Just b/c she was cracking herself up. So here is a picture of her in her finest hour. And YES, you could say she was acting like her father!!!

Well Kennedy is home from her spring break vacation with her Aunt Ann and Grandpa and Grandma. We met Grandma in Hillsboro tonight to pick little Missy up. As you can see in the pics below little Sissy was sacked out on the trip up there. She was too cute. She even snorted/snored a couple of times. We met at Sonic (Kennedy's FAVORITE "restaurant"). They have a really awesome play area. Here are some pictures of our evening. It was so beautiful out and we are glad to have our oldest little beauty home.

What's New

Well as last week neared the end it turned into "One of Those Weeks". Thursday evening the girls both started sneezing up a storm. No big surprise since they suffer from the same dreaded seasonal allergies as their mother. By Friday morning their noses had turned into faucets. And by that evening that were both running low grade temps. w/ crankiness. And friday night's sleep was a special treat, let me tell ya. I had flash backs of the first couple days with a newborn. So on saturday Daddy took "his girls" to the Doc. Thank God our Dr.s office is open on the weekends! So the grand finale was........Kennedy had bad ear infection and Gentry was just told she was really sick. So now they're are both taking Augmentin twice daily. Yeahhh! Upset tummies and diarrhea. OK OK I'm done.

These pics are unrelated to the above paragraph but are from this past week. Kennedy is a very good big Sissy. And you know that Gentry adores her when the kid won't normally touch an apple, but if Sister offers it's more of a present she can't resist.

Big Sister By the way is Spring Breaking in the north part of the state with her Aunt Ann, Cousin Dylan and Uncle Shane. She will also get to spend a little time with her grandparents too! You can see what she is up to by clicking on ANN AND SHANE on my blog list on the right side.

First Spring Worm

It would only be tradition to have some pics of Miss Gentry with a worm. We have quite a few of Kennedy with her "First" Worm. Both girls loved their first worm. However........Kennedy won't get near one now. She screams and thinks they are gross.
What is this?

See Mommy!......Oh AND right after this picture she stuck the worm in her mouth. AND NO I am not kidding!
