2 yr pics

Miss Gentry got her 2 year old picture taken today! Only a month late.......but hey only a month right? Anyway, they turned out pretty cute! The quality isn't as clear on the computer as the pictures themselves since I scanned them in. (Gasp! I know! But I do have the rights to them!) So here is our cutie pa-tootie!

No matter what I do this pic won't scan straight. It is straight in the scanner. So who knows? You get the idea though.

The Latest

Gentry and her outfit of the day! She is wearing Kennedy's crown she made at school on Kansas' birthday. And she's sporting her awesome sunglasses her Aunt Ann gave her on her birthday.

I held an Uppercase Living Party about a month ago. Their products are amazing and I am totally hooked. If you have never heard of it before you should go to their site and check it out. I got so many cool things. Here is what I have done so far. Still have 3 more to put up! Stay tuned!!! And to all of those who ordered from my party.......Thank you soooo much. You are all awesome :)

This is above my kitchen sink. Thought it was appropriate since that is where I spend a lot of my time.

And this is our little half bathroom on the main floor. It's so sassy now!

New Blog

One of my best friends Melissa has started a blog! I love her to death. Her blog is titled "Our Front Porch". She is crafty, a great photographer, wonderful wife and mother, and many more things. I encourage you to check her blog out!

Mini Cheerleader

Tonight was a BIG night for Miss Kennedy. She had her Mini Cheer Camp Performace. Last week they practiced on thursday from 3:30 to 6:30. With a break for a craft and pizza! She wasn't so sure about it for about the first hour and a half though. So mom and sissy hung out with her. And by 5:00 she was fine so we left. It did make me ponder on how tonight would go though. Would she perform or not? Doing things in front of a crowd isn't really the easiest thing in the world. Especially at that age.

She told me she HAAAADDDD to have her hair curled! Well as you know that wasn't a problem for mommy! Here are the girls........doing who knows what? But you can see their cute hair!

Well the Mini Cheer Camp performed at the half time of the girls b-ball game. And Kennedy did it! She did awesome. I have it all only video too!!! And by now I am sure you are asking where the video is. It is coming. Soon. I hope. Since our computer crashed and everything is new I am having a few problems getting the videos on here. But I will figure it out. Til then the pics will have to do!

Quote of the Day

As I mentioned in the last post Kennedy has been asking a Kagillion questions about this whole baby thing.

Yesterday morning while I was getting the girls ready for church Kennedy asks me "Mom, does the baby have toys in your tummy?"

I respond with a chuckle and then "No. The baby does not. How would the toys get in there?"

Kennedy then says, "You are right, you would choke and die if you swallowed those toys to get them down there to your tummy."

Out of the mouths of babes.

And Another One Makes 3!

Due 9-9-10

Yes it is true! We are adding to our brood! I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and growing/counting. We broke the news yesterday to the girls. Gentry is just like "Whatever". And Kennedy has 2 million and one questions. The first thing out of her mouth this morning when I woke her up was........."Is that baby in your belly sleeping right now and is it still small?" I have a feeling these next 30 weeks will all but kill her......and me to.

If there is one thing I must say to you all it is.......PLEASE DO NOT SAY "OH I HOPE ITS A BOY!" or "OH I BET YOU HOPE IT'S A BOY!" to me. I will forgive you if you do BUT this phrase drives me crazy.....already. We will accept and love whatever God gives us with no disappointment. And if it is a 3rd girl then super!

Other phrases I love are.........."Boy are you going to have your hands full!" My response to that one is......"I already have them full."

But my favorite spoken from the mouths of a babe (my cousin who I love tremendously) "I will not come stay with you anymore if you have more kids!" She is an only child. And visits to my house make her thankful for it!

Questions you might want to ask me!

Are you feeling sick? WELL, I have the worst indigestion/acid reflux of my life. If I lay down after eating in the evening I have this wonderful foam that creeps up into my throat. I am exhausted all the time. But my first pregnancy I threw up at least twice a week for the first 12wks. So I feel thankful so far that my bad breath and tiredness is it.

Will we find out the sex? I say yes. He says no. I am carrying and birthing this child. So the answer is yes. We didn't find out the first time and that was great. But we did the second time and that was great too. Third time...definately have to know!

Was it planned and do you want more? Yes, it was planned. Do we want more? I have been telling people the baby's name will be Caboose regardless of the sex b/c he/she will be the end of the train. However daddy dearest thinks this isn't funny b/c he possibly wants one more. Mommy dearest thinks daddy dearest will change his mind when we go from 2 kids to 3. And even if he doesn't.......well then mommy throws the flag for sure ;) And I am pretty sure this will be it.

Yard Art

On Tuesday the sun came out. Which was a miracle in itself. After lunch we went out and made snow men. The snow was so wet and fluffy. Perfect snow man building snow. So we made some yard art. And by the time the girls woke up from nap the only snow left in the yard was their snow men. The rest was all melted. And by yesterday Gentry's had lost his head!

She's putting her own head on top of the snow man!

Gentry has officially learned to ride the trike. She pedals like a crazy girl all around the drive.

It ended up being a really nice day outside. We went for a walk later and the girls rode in their wagon. The temp reached 40 degrees!!! And it felt like 60. I can not beg mother nature enough to bring us some nicer more mild weather. PLEEEEEEASE.

Stuck Inside

A little chocolate for your day!

Since the weather has been pure delight here lately we have done nothing but drag toys out and make monstrous messes inside. We've built and built and built. Mom assists......as you can tell. But the demolition is all them. I can also say I am sick of movies....any kids movie. We have read more books than I can stand and I am going crazy. If spring doesn't get here soon my mood might not be salvagable.

Click on the picture to enlarge! Notice the snot? How could you not? It's real lovely.

This is their favorite things to do with the Lincoln Logs. Kick them...all over.....oh and throw them too. It's a real joy to step on one as an adult. But not as bad as barbies or legos.

This has been Gentry's outfit for days now. The cheerleader dress up outfit over her clothes and Kennedy's snow boots. She wears them around the house ALL DAY. The boots light up so I don't know if that's the "IT" factor for her or what. Guess I should look for some in her size.
