A Big Day!

The invitations I made for Kennedy and Emery's big day!

A week ago today this little lady got baptized

My Grandmother (my father's mother), my Dad and Emery. My grandma just had her 82nd birthday the day before thanksgiving! I know she'll want to kill me for putting that on here but doesn't she look great!!!! I sure think so!

Dylan is acting like his father in this picture. Isn't his expression hilarious!

After the baptism and church we headed to our Senior Center where everyone had dinner. We rented the place for the day and it was wonderful. Everyone had room to roam and eat comfortably. The kids even thought it was great! And after dinner we got to have Kennedy's other big birthday party!

Blowing out her candles after everyone sang her Happy Birthday

Kennedy and Lane share the same birthday. Cina and I even had them in the same hospital, we just didn't know each other then.

Dana's sister Ann aka "Aunt Ann" to all our girls! She'll hate this picture and tell me she's going to hunt me down for putting it on here. But I'm just getting even for an awful one she put of me on her blog! Karma......it's such a ......? Well ya know!

Emery capped off the party with a ton of smiles! It turned out to be a wonderful day in so many ways. Thanks to all of you who came and made it so special. It meant a lot.

A Big Birthday!

Saturday the 20th was this girl's 5th birthday!!! Hard to believe our first born is five. It literally brings tears to my eyes to really think about it.

She will start kindergarten in August of next year. Now that seems impossible. It seems like just yesterday our family looked like this........

And now it looks like this..........!!!

Friday she had her bday party at preschool. Then saturday she had her actual birthday and a her first "Friends" birthday party! She started off the day with gifts from us in the morning and then off to the local donut shop for donuts!
Showing off her card from Mom, Dad and Sisters. Doesn't she look thrilled? She takes after her father ;)

Opening up her c.d. player and Carrie Underwood c.d. This present has been quite the hit!

Opening up her Princess Tent

All ready for the party!

She had been saying for MONTHS she wanted a Princess Tiana cake (from Princess and the Frog movie)

I made headbands for each one of the girls as party favors. They turned out pretty cute. And luckily there wasn't any hair pulling over who got which one!

Making a Wish

Getting some quality play time in her room with all her friends.

Our friends Stewart and Melissa came with their daughter Maddison and helped out at the party!

Dana will probably kill me for putting this picture on here. But how cute it this? Seriously. You know he's an awesome Daddy when he'll do this!

My friend Melissa and I. I look at this picture and think....Boy I really look tired. I WAS. I still am. I look even worse today.

Small Talk

Here is a video of Miss Emery and her latest noises. She starts to really get worked up towards the end. She is finding her hands. And sucks on her thumb once in a while! The video shows how much she is really growing!

Don't forget to pause the music on our Playlist at the bottom :)

Halloween Weekend!

Carving their pumpkin with Daddy

Pumpkin Guts!!!!!!!

Mommy making her kick butt pumpkin with Daddy dearests drill! It was soooo cool.

Getting ready to head out Trick or Treating. Daddy stayed to hand out the candy. Mommy pushed Emery in the stroller. And the girls got chauffeured by our wonderful neighbors aka Lane's parents in the wagons.

Pirate Gentry

What a life. We didn't even make them walk except up the driveways!

The cutest Ladybug aka Emery was quite the trooper. She did great. And got quite the amount of attention when we trick or treated the Senior Center. All of the older women couldn't get enough of her. They would all say "There's just something about a baby." as they all oohed and awwed over her. It was so sweet.

Poor Gentry was always about 10 steps behind Lane and Kennedy. But the whole time she was running to keep up she was yelling "TRICK OR TREAT!" as loud as possible. And then after receiving her candy she would turn, and yell "HAPPY HAYOWEEEEEEN!!!" while she ran away. So many people got a kick out of it. It was so cute!
