Walter's

Last Sunday we finally made it to Walter's Pumpkin Patch. It is truly the best Pumpkin Patch around. It's a little expensive but well worth your money. The weather was absolutely perfect. We were there for 3.5 hrs and could have been there way longer. There are a lot of pictures so be patient!!!

Checking out the chickens

They had pear trees just filled!

Gentry couldn't stay up.

This is where Emery hung out the whole time. And slept almost the whole time.

Love this one

Super Girl!

There were so many beautiful things to see.

And of course it wouldn't be a successful trip...anywhere...if we didn't have at least one meltdown. And it was because her cookie broke in half.

My favorite field! The specialty pumpkins!

Gentry found hers!!!!

Carrie Under"wear"!

Kennedy is a HUGE fan of Carrie Underwood. It was the first singer she really "took" to. When she was just 2 she started recognizing her songs on the radio. And she woud yell "It's Carrie UnderWEAR! OR "It's Carrie Panties!!!! Her loyalty as a fan has stayed strong so when we heard she was coming to town we knew this was the perfect opportunity to take Kennedy to her first concert. We got the tickets way back in June but waited til the day before the concert to tell her! We got seats on the floor too! So last tuesday we headed to see Miss Carrie Underwood!!!

And as always we started our trip off by running late....Road Construction. Not sure if you can see it through all the bugs on my windshield. I finally broke down and washed it!

We finally started moving through it after sitting for 15 minutes. She was worried we would miss the whole thing!

She was soooo excited when we got on our way!!!!

The sunset was beautiful as we were driving through the city on our way to the concert.

Sons of Sylvia opened first. I didn't get any good pics of them but this was taken before they came out. It gives you a good idea of where we sat. Pretty good seats!

Billy Currington was the next opening act. He was great as to be expected! I was lovin' his curly hair!

Here she comes!!!

Carrie coming up out of the floor!

Her sets were phenomenal!!!!

She sang one of her songs swinging on this swing!

About 2/3's the way through the concert we got to see Carrie up close! REAL close! She came out in the bed of this truck that was suspended from a track up above us. It circled around out into the crowd right in front of where we were at!!!!!!

THE END!!!!!! What a great memory this will be for us!

We walked out of the arena at 11:00 p.m. And our almost 5 year old daughter looks at us and says "I think we need to go get some ice cream!" If it wouldn't have been a tuesday night I think we would've gone for it. But she actually had preschool the next morning and by the time we made the drive home and got her in bed and asleep it was 12:45!!!!!!
