A Great Weekend

it was a pretty darn good weekend

so its a long post...sorry

we started it off friday night with smores

emery enjoying watching the fire in her carseat

it was short lived

kennedy jumping in her light up shoes in the dark

enjoying their smores

Gentry took a header onto the concrete at daycare thurs

yes.....they have still been going to daycare one day a week while i am on maternity leave

to keep them in touch

and b/c i can

this girl chose this for breakfast sat. morning

instead of this yummy cherry breakfast swirl mommy made

my neighbor Cina gave me the recipe and it is delicious

this weekend was our little town's fall festival

there was a parade in the morning

and then the girls rode carnival rides that night (however i didn't get pics of that)

here they are anxiously awaiting the parade to start

the band

only small town Kansas can have a float like this one in their parade

Kansas Hunters

all the football boys

there is a lot of them for being a small town school!

Emery didn't seem to be phased by the parade

ornery sisters with their candy

i made homemade cinnmaon rolls on sunday

they are so much work

but they were sooooo good

and perfect for our cool, rainy, snuggly day

yes....we ate a lot of junk over the weekend

couldn't help it, it was the weather

on another note today Miss Emery and her two sisters are going to the doctor

all three are getting shots

it is possible that all four of us might cry

the leaves are turning and they are beeeautiful
