Pumpkin Patch

Kennedy's PreSchool had their pumpkin patch visit on tuesday. They had a blast and it was definately warmer than last year!!! Ms. Jana's farm is just outside of our small town here. She has just about every farm animal you can think of and she has several of each of them. We got to hang out on the farm and do cool things and then ride the hay trailor down the road and through some woods in a field to another play area and of course to the pumpkins!!!

Getting ready to go down the frosty slide.

They thought the bridge was so fun b/c it had frost on it so they were sliding all over!!

Kennedy feeding the goats.

If you look hard you can see they are petting a tame chicken. This tame chicken will fall asleep if you pet his breast. I believe he might even snore too. It's so cool!

Bailey feeding the horsey a carrot

Snack/Story time in Ms. Jana's Barn

Gentry swingin' in the......field!

Boys vs. Girls

She's got her pumpkin picked up and Miss Dana is writing their names on them.

Addison, Bailey, Maddison, Kennedy, Lane, Brock and Braxton (Alexis was sick :(
Don't they look worn out!? Their faces are worth a million words.

The Ride Back

So Cute

P.S. I added a new blog to my blog list on the side. "The Essers". "Mommy" Esser was Kennedy's very first babysitter. She was a wonderful babysitter. They live in the town where I cut hair so I get to see them when they come in for haircuts. This mother is super woman. Her and her husband have 4 beeeutiful daughters. The youngest 2 are identical twins. She also works full time and goes to school part time. I don't know how she does it. Cindy you are awesome!!!

Just Smile

Today has been one of those days. A day w/ all emotions. It was a hard day for Rita. It was a hard day for all of us. People say things. Things that are hurtful but may not meant to be that way. Time does not always make things better.

Amanda's (my coworker) mom has H1N1 and a 104 degree temp that hasn't gave way yet.

I am under the weather. Which makes me tired and emotional. Still fighting this crappy head cold junk. But I can't sleep. Which makes me a head case. So many thoughts racing through my brain. Stellan (My Charming Kids Blog) is in an induced coma and on a ventilater. And tomorrow he turns 1. That's just not right. No kid should go through in a lifetime what he has gone through in one year. He is little. He is sweet. He is innocent.

It makes me think of my cousin Seth. I miss him dearly. It's been a little over 7 yrs since he left us here on earth at the young age of 2.5yrs old. It's so not fair....Life.....but at the same time it is so beautiful....and crazy. So many emotions that God equipped our bodies with. When God made me he must have installed an extra huge emotions part. There are days that I swear the weight of emotions I feel from other people might kill me. Some of the people I know...some are strangers. It's that OCD perfectionism part of me that makes me want to fix everyone's problems. Make things perfect. But that's not possible. So I have to remember all the good..........and Just Smile.

These girls make each other smile....oh and me too

Stupid, silly moments with my girls......make me smile

This girl....with this hair...makes me smile

My Fat Baby Cowboy Boots.......make me smile

And smores with my Hubby......make me smile

Weekend Wedding

Well the wedding was a success! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. I must be pooped.....because I am pretty sure I woke up w/ the flu this morning....achy all over. No fever.........yet.

Getting my hairs did. I sucked it up and stepped foot on foreign soil and had my hair and makeup done with all the other girls at a Salon in Wichita. Thanks Skylar for doing a great job!

I know we are blurry in the pic but it was intentional b/c I think the products and scissors are too cool.......naturally.

Putting her lips on

Cousins!

The girls and I in the bridal room. This was the best pic we could get. They were so excited it was impossible to get them to hold still.

If you can believe this......her boquet was artificial. It looked soooo real.

She was absolutely beautiful and her dress was awesome!

Gentry and her Grandpa Larry

These were the bottoms of the Hershey kisses on the reception tables. Too stinkin cute!

What a proper little flower girl.

Unfortunately our Grandma was hospitalized on friday and taken on to Topeka. She is waiting to have a heart cath done today. They are pretty sure she has some blockage going on. She also has a broken rib from a fall down the stairs last week that she wouldn't go to the doctor for. So some of the family was unable to make it. We just pray she gets better and does okay today.
