Birthday Boy!

28 years ago this little boy was born. Here is a picture of him when he was 2! Isn't he a cutie! Also, don't tell me our girls don't look even a "little" like their daddy. Because THEY DO :)

Today is Dana's actual b-day. But we had his little dinner party at home last night since wednesday's are mommy's day to work late. She knew a party on his actual bday wasn't "do-able". However, since we did it a night early he really was surprised! The girls were about to burst waiting for him to get home!!!

All Ready!!!

Every birthday party needs balloons. Especially if there's kids.

Here are the girls ANXIOUSLY awaiting Daddy getting home from work so they can yell "SURPRISE"!!!

Roast, taters, carrots, creamed corn, fruit salad, and salad!!!!

Oh and don't forget the cake!!!

Here are the girls singing Happy Birthday to Daddy. They helped him blow out his candles after this. I got a picture of that......but Dana is making such a goofy face I decided not to post that one.....it is his birthday after all.

Happy 28th birthday Husband and Daddy (soon to be to 3 kiddos!!!)
We love you so much and are thankful to have you in our lives. You are our one and only!!!! Hard to believe I started dating you when you were just.....17! Gasp!!! I know!

What's For Dinner? or Was..

Homemade Pizza!

Pillsbury makes a refrigerated pizza crust that works great. Sometimes, ok all the time it tears when you take it out of the can so you end up patching it up when you roll it out onto the pan.

MMMmmmm! A dream to a pregnant woman's heartburn. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha...barf! Okay I really do like pepper/onions and all the goods. I just follow up immediately with Pepcid.

Wahlah!!!! Do you notice the small section on the right end of the pizza? That would be the part of the pizza the girls will actually eat, b/c it has no nutritional value aka no toppings...well maybe the meat.

We also had a great day outside today. We went out at 9:00 this morning. Came in for 2.5 hrs of nap time (cleaning time for mom & movie time for Kennedy) then back out til supper. We probably logged a good 7+ hrs outside. I know I know....your saying "Yeah right"......and I am actually serious. It was so beautiful here today.

Can you see Kennedy and I in her glasses? This is about all you can get of Kennedy these days with the camera. She really wants nothing to do with it. And when she relents and lets you take a pic she gives you some really goofy face....like her dad.

At Day At The Park

Yesterday we went to the Winfield Park with our friends Melissa and Maddison. It was AWESOME weather. The girls had a great time. I am really not sure who was more wore out when we left. The kids or the moms! Melissa packed us a wonderful lunch with tons of fresh fruit, nuggets for the kids and pita pockets for the moms! It was so yummy! THANKS SO MUCH MELISSA!!! We had a great time.

Jumping on to the rings!

Maddison making the climb!

Maddie wasn't so sure about the slides at first. So she made Melissa go down with her. Here they are trying to get out at the bottom!!!!

Tandum Swinging!

Melissa climbing up the big rock. She made it! The girls were worried!

Gentry only wanted "MOWISSA" to help her down the pole. Not mommy :( I am used to it though :)

They made a new friend. Her name was Peyton. Although Maddison swore her name was Minnie!

You should click on the picture and check out that static!!!

She didn't make it to nap until 3:00. She was pooped. I had to wake her up at 5:00 and she was not happy. We whined and cried the rest of the evening. I could tell something was wrong. She didn't eat supper and just layed on me. Then about 7:00 we upchucked all over the living room floor and the chair. So we are home today. Although....she is fine. I think she just over played and was too exhausted. Guess mommy shouldn't have woke her up.

Play Dough

Today's high is SUPPOSED to be 57 degrees. At noon it was 43. The sun still isn't shining and it borders chilly/cold. So we busted out the play dough. One of the girls got this for Christmas? from Uncle Jason and Aunt Kara? I think? It is one of the coolest play dough sets I have ever seen. You can create all sorts of cool food. So Here was our "Pretend" lunch.

Chicken Leg anyone?

So many decisions

Steak, Green Beans and Eggs. Doesn't get much healthier than this.

Making Toast.......her favorite!

Pizza! Their favorite. In fact we had it last night!

celery with peanut butter! MMMmmmmmm

Yesterday and Today

YESTERDAY.......it rained almost all day. Kennedy had her friend Bailey over and we were scheduled to go to the zoo with some friends. However that didn't quite work out with all the rain. So Bailey still came over and the girls just had a play day inside all day. They had a great time putting on all sorts of lip glosses, painting nails, playing with the doll house and all the girls' other toys.

TODAY was beautiful. It was raining this morning but by mid morning the sun was shining and it was perfect. Gentry and I had an enjoyable walk around town while Kennedy was at school. And after we picked her up from school we played and played outside. It was great. Wet, but great.

our tulips are popping up all over!!!!

berries everywhere, the girls drive me nuts with these things. they are always picking them off. and i say at least 10 million times..."Do NOT stick those in your mouth."

The trees are covered in buds and will be leafing out soon! Mother Nature willing of course.......fingers crossed.

Wild woman on her scooter!

Her cool St. Patty's day hair clip one of my clients made.
