Model Dentist Patient!

A little nervous!!!

Checking things out!

Flossing!

Polishing !

Dentist poking around!

See the pearly whites!

Today Kennedy and I had dental appt.s. It was her first! Just a check up. She did absolutely awesome!!! She let them clean her teeth, polish them, floss them and poke around. She was so stinkin cute. She got to wear some cool glasses to protect her eyes. Mommy went first so that she could see what it was all about. Both the dentist and assistant cracked up with all of her questions. And she got to pick out a toy when she was done and go to Braums for lunch. It was a big day for a big girl!

Leaving on a Jet Plane

No pics for this post. If there were it would be of a plane. Dana flew out for Atlanta at 5pm today for some training that he gets to go do every year. He won't be back in til late friday night. Pray for this mother of two young children that she makes it through this week w/o her other half! This is when it is most difficult living at distance from family. But thank God for my awesome neighbors (Cina especially!). As I sit here and ponder about this trip he "dreaded" (he really is a family man) I know it is a break he needed. The man never gets to bed before 11:00 and wakes up at 5:30. On my mental health calendar this is no where near enough sleep. But he seems to do it. So I hope he gets a chance to relax in the evenings, eat well (God knows he will, we don't have to pay for any of his trip!) and get some much needed rest. We miss you Daddy! See you soon.

On another note. Tomorrow is a big day. Little miss Kennedy Reese is going to the dentist for the first time. Mommy will also be getting a check up/cleaning. This will be a big event for her. Although she doesn't at all seem to be anxious about it. So say a little prayer for her! (Oh and mommy too!)

Gentry's Birthday Bash!

Saturday was Gentry's big birthday party. It was wonderful. She got tons of wonderful clothes and toys! Thank you all. She had a great time and thouroughly enjoyed her cake. In fact she ate the whole piece and threw quite the fit when it was gone. We had Dana's dad smoke up a brisket and pork loin (he does an AWESOME job). It was seriously some of the best meat I have ever had.
We also made:
creamed corn
cheesey potatos
veggie tray
fruit tray
rolls
7-layer salad (Thank you to Ann who made this for me. It was great as always.)
cake and ice-cream (The lady that made our wedding cake made the pooh cake and it kicked some real b-day party butt!)

We served 27 adults and 5 kids by the time it was over and we were all pooped.

Awesome Winnie The Pooh Cake!

Precious Birthday Girl!

I can not believe my mom would do this too me. Do you see the size of that flower on my head?

One of many great presents!

Gentry's Pooh Gear

Mommy blew the candle out right before I grabbed the flame!

MMMmmmmmmm!!

Why didn't you tell me about this stuff before?

Kennedy and Gi Gi!

Floor Cleaners

Whenever I am in the kitchen cooking supper it seems that these two little ladies have to always be on the floor right at my feet.

American Idol Tryouts!

Well it's that time of the year again. Amercan Idol is taking over on ABC again. Evidentally Gentry wanted to try out. Here's a glance at our future Hollywood!

The Big O-N-E !!!

Wednesday was Gentry girl's first birthday!!! She was born 2:47 a.m. via emergency c-section (didn't know she had turned and was feet first! Was at 7cm when arrived at hospital!) So she was already technically one when she awoke for her first big birthday present. She got a ride in car that mommy and daddy can push her in (no pedal power). She got one beautiful day on thursday to enjoy it outside before it turned cold again. Here are some pics!

New Blog to Follow

Okay, so I added a new blog on our links to follow. But get this.....I don't even know this woman. I found her blog through several others (a blog through a blog through a blog). I can't stop reading her blog. She has to be the strongest woman ever. She has four daughters, one of which pasted away. She has lots of video on her site about losing her daughter Audrey and thier story. She also talks about her Christian faith (which is so strong) and her amazing bond with her best friend Audra. This blog is just too awesome. Please check it out.

It's on the side bar under: Audrey Caroline

It will give you a new outlook on life.
