Junior Prom 2001 - My date was Cole. I was dating Dana at the time but he couldn't go with me since he had already graduated. The school we grew up in has closed prom so only Juniors and Seniors can go. Doesn't Cole looked thrilled! or maybe freaked out? LOL! It gives me a good laugh.
I look back at this picture and think "WOW I looked good!" And then I think "WOW I can't believe my parents let me wear that!" Now that I have daughters of my own it makes you think about it from a different perspective.
These were two of my child hood best friends. Paige who is now married and a Teacher!, ME!, and Kristi who is now a Pharmacist at Dillons!
Senior Prom! I LOVED this dress! It was my favorite.
Senior Prom 2002 - Jason was my date to our Senior Prom. Yes Jason.......my husbands brother.....yes I was dating Dana. No he couldn't come w/ me again....since he had already graduated. So why not go w/ his most trusted person/friend! He was a great date!

Kate, you wouldn't... At least the year I went with Dana I had a less hideous dress than my senior year. I can't wait for this flashback!

ReplyDeleteI, too, agree with Stacy!!! I remember Walleta showing us your senior prom pictures when she came to visit for my mom's birthday. She kept telling us that you were known as the "sister in law" and I had said "are they getting married?" And her comment was "well...they aren't engaged yet...but we all know Dana's going to marry her. She fits our family perfectly and we all love her. Jason was excited to go to prom with her, so that should tell you how much he even likes her!!" Anyways...I just thought of that when I was looking at these! Can't wait to see Dana's pictures!!!
