An Awesome Time!

Kennedy had her first "real" playdate on tuesday. Her friend Bailey got to come home w/ us after their swimming lessons were over. She got to stay all afternoon. They had the GREATEST time ever. They swam for hours, did a project and just in general played hard. Here are some pictures to show what they did!

Bailey taking a break.

Supplies

Shaving cream is on, smoothed and ready to go!

Food coloring dropped on to shaving cream.

Swirling the food coloring around w/ their toothpicks!

Patting the paper in the shaving cream. However, I could see in her eyes that she really just wanted to smash that paper down in there. I just kept saying "pat it! pat it!"

Peeling the paper off the shaving cream. Then you have to wipe the cream off w/ a squeegie.

Hanging their art work out to dry. Isn't their work beautiful? I can't stop staring at their pictures. I think I might frame one.

Giggles and screams is what friendship means!

Doesn't Bailey have the most beautiful blue eyes? They are awesome.

Anything that allows her to use her creativeness in a messy way is something she'll love.

PRICELESS!

I think she did an awesome job.....covering just about every square inch!

They finished off the play date w/ some playhouse play time. I had a fan running in the playhouse to try to keep them cooled off. It helped some. They were pretty tuckered out by this point. You can see the look on Bailey's face!

  5. Sarah,
I get the magazine Family Fun. They had the idea in that. In fact I have done/made 3 of the ideas out of this months issue. It was awesome one. You will have to buy it!
