Party Party

This past weekend we went back to visit all the fam and had Gentry's big bday party on saturday. It was nice and layed back. She got tons of great stuff. And we ended the weekend with Gentry throwing up (a lot) in the suburban on our way home. Since the second week of Dec. the stomach flu has officially hit Gentry 3 separate times, Kennedy twice and Mommy once. Between the laundry and barf I haven't had too much energy lately. Plus this nasty horrible winter has just been suckin the life out of me. BUT...at this current moment, fingers crossed, we are all well. Lets see how long that lasts!

Gentry opening up her Potato Heads and Soccer Ball aka her "Beach Ball" as she calls it from her uncle Ryan and his girlfriend Krista. The soccer ball has pretty much been an attachment of her since she got it. Luckily we don't have to sleep with it.

I think she was overwhelmed at this point. She's holding her pkg of underwear!

There was also another cake. A rainbow cake. It did look really pretty. And then it didn't. I made my typical buttercream frosting and decided to go ahead and add the cool whip. Wellll....BIG mistake. It slid off in the fridge. Huge mess. Salvaged half of it though. And it still got ate!
Funny quote of the day (Dana's Gma Sue who didn't know the story): I asked her which cake she would like....and her reply was " I think I'll take the chocolate. The one over there looks a little interesting."!!!!!!! It truly did not hurt my feelings. In all honesty it gave me a really great laugh!

The Big 2!

Today our baby who isn't a baby anymore, turned 2!!!! She got a pink Radio Flyer Scooter for her birthday.....and to say that she is beyond thrilled would be a major understatement. She's been riding this thing around the house all day.




We visited Chuck E. Cheese late morning and stayed for a couple of hours. The kids had a wonderful time! They were so good and it was so much fun watching them.

Opening her gift from The Shirley's. Cina- She loves it all...in fact we had to wear the shirt over her long sleeve shirt all evening b/c she had such a big fit & I think she flipped through every page of both books oooohing and aaaaahing!


Gentry was awesome at this one! I swear her first time up she hit every duck! Her machine just kept spitting out tickets!


Giddeup! Can you see the cool screen? The horse ride is animated. You actually steer it!....so to speak....if you "steer" a horse?

This was Gentry's favorite! All she had to do was push the big button and it would make this cool sound while all the balls would pop up into the air. The more you got in the angry bull dogs mouth the higher you scored!

She hit the Jack Pot!!!!! She actually started crying b/c she thought she broke the machine. The tickets just kept coming and coming and she kept yelling "Make it stop". All I could do was laugh w/ huge tears in my eyes!!!

Ring Around The Rosie...Gentry's Favorite Game right now. They were delighted to sing and do the actions with her. Especially since it was her birthday. I think they would have done anything for her!


They were dancing in front of the stage! Can you see wild woman swinging her head around? She LOVES to dance. And at certain points she is quite good! They had music videos playing up on the stage when the Chuck E. Cheese characters weren't playing. So there was continual music which put these kiddos in continual motion.

The Answer is No

The answer is NO.....I have not fallen off the face of the earth. But our computer on the other hand.........has :( On tuesday after I made my last post I opened up an attachment somewhere and it killed our computer. Dana's super smart computer guy at work looked at it for us. And the word is.......it's a goner. He's not even sure he can retrieve my pictures off of it. And since I am sooo incredibly smart I haven't backed my pictures up for at least 5 months. I will be truly devastated if I can't get them back. But I guess it will be a hard lesson learned. We are home visiting all our fam this weekend so this is the first computer access I have gotten 4 whole days. I am dyyyyyying. We are hoping to have our new computer by tuesday! With a few fingers crossed! But check back in. I will try to post some pics while I am on the in-laws or parents computer! Til then.... have a wonderful weekend.

This Morning

We are under a Freezing Fog Advisory til noon today.
It is absolutely beautiful out. Mother nature gave us a breath taking morning.
It is 19 degrees out. There is no wind. And it feels warm!
Kennedy is at pre school.
So Gentry and I took some time to get some pics.

Cashed Out!

I was cleaning thursday morning upstairs in all of the bedrooms. The girls were quiet. Too quiet. I was afraid of what I might find. I had put a movie on for them so I went downstairs to see what kind of trouble my little women were getting into. Astonishment........this is what I found!

We don't think she'll be able to do this much longer. Her legs are growing longer by the minute.
