One Word........ORNERY!

This girl is always doing something with her tongue in every picture.

They thought this was too cool!

"Playhouse" I absolutely loved it when my mom would make me a clothesline playhouse as a child. So I decided to pass on the tradition.

Quilts

I made it to the fabric store the other day and found some material that I just LOOOVE! I am going to make the girls each a quilt. Here are some pics of the fabric. I am just so excited. I have quilted before and love it. I find it relaxing and fun. Something for ME to enjoy. So stay tuned for pics of the finished products.

Baking

I am sooooo excited! I have been wanting a Kitchen Aid mixer for a long time now and after patiently waiting for a great sale at kohls and hitting the early bird special I finally purchased one! It's black and I loooove it!
So yesterday was a baking afternoon. I stole this frosting recipe off of another blog that I follow and man did she pull through! It's awesome! So I thought I would share with you all. And I owe the cupcake recipe to Betty Crocker. Ha!

1 stick butter (at room temp) Mix w/ mixer till smooth
1/3 to 1/2 bag of powd. sugar Add slowly into mixer
1 tsp. vanilla Add w/ powdered sugar
1-3 Tbsp. milk Add slowly one Tbsp. at a time until consistency is good. I used a little over 2 Tbsp.
1/2 a tub of cool whip Add to mixing bowl and mix on med for a little while and then on high til smooth.

Yes, those are fruity pepples. I was given this idea by a client.(Thanks Shirley!)And it is awesome!

Princess X's Two!

Kennedy's Aunt Ann gave her this princess getup at Christmas. She loves it! Up until now though she hasn't wanted to wear the dress b/c it was "Itchy". But she figured out she can wear it over her clothes. I had to force her to take it off for nap time.

I watch our neighbor boy Lane on mondays and thursdays. This is what he was subjected to yesterday! He sure was enjoying himself. I wish we could all go back to the younger years where we could just have fun and not worry about what we looked like! Lane, you really made my day when you wanted to dress up too!
