These pics were of the girls yesterday morning before church. YES, YES I know......another "what did she put on her kid" moment. The hat on Gentry was actually Kennedy's as a baby. She would just never keep it on. But Gentry will. So sorry for the humiliation in the future years Gentry. Mommy thought it was too cute!
Gentry loves listening to Kennedy's headphones but always has a hard time getting them on. Therefore we throw a fit until mommy helps!
My brother-in-law and his wife have a picture of their wedding rings similar to this that their wedding photographer took. I thought it was really cool so I decided to do one of our rings. "Nontraditional" photos like these weren't the big thing when we got married. But I sure wish they would have been! Here are some random pics over the last week.
Oh My Goodness! Mommy's Most Precious Piece of Jewelry Kennedy's Precious Bracelet Gentry's Precious bracelet Here are some random photos from the last week or so.
Here is a video that I thought you might get a kick out of. It was shot about a month ago. My cousin and her fiance got their schnauzer Bree last summer and the girls just LOVE her. All Gentry can do is laugh when the dog comes near. And Kennedy can't leave her alone. She wants Bree to follow her everywhere! The dog is so pooped by the time she leaves our house that she's usually always asleep.
DON'T forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and pause our playlist so that you can hear the video!!!
A little nervous!!! Checking things out! Flossing! Polishing ! Dentist poking around! See the pearly whites! Today Kennedy and I had dental appt.s. It was her first! Just a check up. She did absolutely awesome!!! She let them clean her teeth, polish them, floss them and poke around. She was so stinkin cute. She got to wear some cool glasses to protect her eyes. Mommy went first so that she could see what it was all about. Both the dentist and assistant cracked up with all of her questions. And she got to pick out a toy when she was done and go to Braums for lunch. It was a big day for a big girl!
No pics for this post. If there were it would be of a plane. Dana flew out for Atlanta at 5pm today for some training that he gets to go do every year. He won't be back in til late friday night. Pray for this mother of two young children that she makes it through this week w/o her other half! This is when it is most difficult living at distance from family. But thank God for my awesome neighbors (Cina especially!). As I sit here and ponder about this trip he "dreaded" (he really is a family man) I know it is a break he needed. The man never gets to bed before 11:00 and wakes up at 5:30. On my mental health calendar this is no where near enough sleep. But he seems to do it. So I hope he gets a chance to relax in the evenings, eat well (God knows he will, we don't have to pay for any of his trip!) and get some much needed rest. We miss you Daddy! See you soon.
On another note. Tomorrow is a big day. Little miss Kennedy Reese is going to the dentist for the first time. Mommy will also be getting a check up/cleaning. This will be a big event for her. Although she doesn't at all seem to be anxious about it. So say a little prayer for her! (Oh and mommy too!)
Dana and I have been together 12 years and married 8. We have three beautiful daughters. Kennedy age 6, Gentry age 4, and Emery our sweet 1 year old. Life here is never dull! I do hair part time (3 days a wk) and stay home with our girls the other 4. Our family has been truly blessed with lots of love and happiness and we are so excited to give you all a glimpse.
